Ohio Homebuyer Plus Requirements
Participants MUST:
- Be an Ohio resident at least 18 years of age
- Have their primary residence located in the State of Ohio
- Only use account proceeds toward the down payment or closing costs of a home purchased in Ohio, with the home becoming their new primary residence
Accounts must be used within five years, maintain a minimum balance of at least $100, and cannot exceed a maximum balance of $100,000.

The Ohio Homebuyer Plus savings account, is Eligible to members and non-members. Qualifying non-members will first need to open a regular share account with Bridge Credit Union, in addition to the Ohio Homebuyer Plus Savings Account to qualify. The Ohio Homebuyers Plus Savings account cannot be held jointly. Two individuals who are legally married are both eligible to open and fund individual accounts held under their individual credit union memberships. Members shall hold not more than one Ohio Homebuyer Plus Savings Program account at any one time except as allowed in the Ohio Homebuyer Savings Plus Participation Statement.
